Load for the overflow site

Write down which cartons went on a vehicle, off which shelves. This records that they left the building. It records nothing about them arriving anywhere, because that is a separate scan at the other site.

Where it is going, and on what

Reading the overflow sites.

The cartons going on it

Nothing on the load yet. Scan each carton as it goes on the van.

Record what was loaded

This goes in as one load. SavaFlow checks every carton against the shelf you scanned it off, and if one of them has been moved since, the whole load is refused and nothing is recorded. A van cannot half leave.

Once it is recorded, these cartons are on no shelf anywhere. They stay that way until somebody at the overflow site scans each one in.

Loads still being scanned in

Loads to or from this site with at least one carton not yet scanned in at the other end. A load leaves this list once every carton on it has an arrival recorded. That is what SavaFlow has been told and not a report on any vehicle.

Customers do not collect at the overflow site. It is a hold, not a counter. Goods a customer is coming for are brought back to the warehouse first.
